National Honor Society 

WCCS has a chapter of this national organization that recognizes student achievement in leadership, academics, character and service.  

Student Council 

Peer-elected students that lead several school activities throughout the year. The student council consists of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and class representatives in grades 7-12.  

Fine Arts 

Students share their talents throughout the year at school and local events, as well as through the West Virginia Christian Education Association's annual fine arts competitions. Our Fine Arts programs include:

• Choir – elementary, middle and high school
• Band – middle and high school
• Art classes at various levels
• Drama for middle and high school

Spirit Weeks

Twice a year, concentrated weeks are dedicated to showing the Wildcat Spirit with special themed days and activities throughout the week.

Homecoming 

Each fall spirit week is completed with the homecoming game and the crowning of the king and queen. The high school ends the celebration with a homecoming dance.

Dodge Brawl 

This annual tradition pits the students against the faculty for the coveted dodge ball trophy.
